1. Providing resource information
In order for residents to make informed decisions on their recreation/leisure pursuits LEISURE FOR LIFE will provide the necessary information as it relates to a specific activity. This process includes the development of an information data base collected from community-based groups, private organizations, agencies such as Travel Alberta, recreation departments, and any other non profit organization focused on seniors’ needs.
LEISURE FOR LIFE will assist in the development of resources through fund-raising, and initiating grant proposals for support of programs.

This information will allow the residents of your facility, as well as their designated resident committee to access the survey results and plan accordingly with LEISURE FOR LIFE’s assistance and guidance.
4. Providing information and referral to residents
LEISURE FOR LIFE will assist in the process of identifying and determining the recreation/leisure & well being needs and interests of the population being served and provide information and referrals to the Residents regarding programs available, including developing and disseminating publicity through all forms of media.
